Zem Joaquin, a graduate of Pepperdine University, started the blog (perhaps it was in the stars, since she was born on Joan Baez' commune in California). Joaquin left a life of fashion in Milan, Italy, to pursue a career that protects mother earth.

She is now a board member of Global Green and a certified Build It Green professional -- and she is also one heck of a good shopper!
