Celebrate the seasons with eco-decorations

I don't know about you, but Tuesday's election result put me in the mood to celebrate! And it's a good thing, because now that all of the campaigning and worrying is over, I can see that the holidays are just around the corner.

So after school, my girls and I are going to set to work on this fun, easy eco-craft, making a wreath from recycled plastic grocery bags. This wreath is easy put together and it can be decorated to suit any holiday or celebration. Here's how it's done:

Materials

Wire wreath circle (or vines from your backyard)

35-40 plastic grocery bags

Florist wire

Scissors

Directions

1.Cut the bottom and handles off of the grocery bags and scrunch each one into a ball.
2.Using the florist wire, tie bags onto the wire wreath circle or vines.
3.Fluff and repeat until the wreath is full.
4.Decorate as desired.
